What is the Snickers cake at New Level?
The Snickers cake is one of the cakes we bake in-house at New Level Coffee & Bakery and sell by the slice. It sits in the case alongside our Honey Cake (medovik), Napoleon, Pistachio & Raspberry, Strawberry, Chocolate & Blueberry, and Honey & Raspberry.
If you like our European-style cakes but want something on the richer, more indulgent end of the case, the Snickers slice is the one to point at. It's a sit-down-and-stay dessert more than a light afternoon bite.
Who is this slice for?
The Snickers slice is for the guest who wants a dessert with real weight to it. A few people it tends to suit:
- Anyone who orders dessert first and coffee second. If the cake is the point of the visit, this is a good place to start.
- People bringing a friend. Two slices and two coffees makes an easy, unhurried hour.
- Afternoon visitors. We're open until 6:00 PM every day, so there's no rush to make it a morning thing.
- Guests who want something other than fruit. If Strawberry or Honey & Raspberry feels too light for the mood, go here instead.

Which coffee should you order with it?
An Americano is the classic pairing — black, unsweetened espresso-based coffee that gives a sweet slice something to push against. It's the order we'd suggest first if you want the cake to stay the loudest thing on the table.
If you'd rather have something cold and a little indulgent, the Iced Mocha leans the same direction as the cake instead of cutting against it: chocolate alongside chocolate, cold against a chilled slice. On a warm Pompano Beach afternoon that's an easy call.

Can you take a slice to go?
Yes — we do dine-in and takeout, so a slice can be boxed to take with you or eaten here with a coffee. We're a top-rated coffee shop on Google and a fair number of guests come in for cake and coffee together, then stay a while.
