What time does New Level Coffee & Bakery open?
We open at 7:00 AM every day and close at 6:00 PM. That is Monday through Friday, and it is also Saturday and Sunday — the schedule does not change on weekends or shift later on a Sunday.
It's a simple thing, but it's the thing people actually need to know at 6:45 in the morning. You don't have to check which day it is. Seven o'clock, every day, at 698 East McNab Road in Pompano Beach.
Is there coffee open on Sunday morning in Pompano Beach?
Yes — we're open 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, exactly like every other day.
Weekend mornings tend to run slower, and that suits the place. A Sunday coffee is a different kind of coffee than a Tuesday one: there's no reason to rush it, and nobody is going to make you. Come at seven if you're an early riser, come at ten if you're not. The same menu is there either way.
What coffee can you get in the morning?
The coffee menu is espresso-based: Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Caramel Macchiato and Iced Latte.
That's a short list on purpose, and it covers the usual morning shapes — a small, sharp espresso when you just need the coffee itself; an Americano when you want something to hold onto for a while; a cappuccino or latte when you want it softer. The Caramel Macchiato sits at the sweeter end for people who treat the first cup of the day as a small reward.
South Florida being what it is, plenty of mornings call for something cold instead. Our Iced Latte is on the coffee list, and the separate cold drinks menu runs to lemonades and iced drinks if coffee isn't what you're after at all.

Is there anything to eat that early?
Yes — Chicken Quiche and beef samsa are the savory things to eat with your morning coffee, and both travel well if you're taking them with you.
The quiche is a proper sit-down-with-a-fork breakfast if you have twenty minutes. The samsa is the one you eat with one hand. We've written more about both of them here.
If your morning leans sweet, the cakes are made in-house daily and sold by the slice — Honey Cake, Napoleon, Pistachio & Raspberry, Strawberry, Chocolate & Blueberry, Snickers, Honey & Raspberry — and there are cinnamon rolls in several flavors, including a caramel peanut one. Nobody here thinks cake at 7:30 AM is strange.

Can you sit down, or is it takeout only?
Both. New Level Coffee & Bakery does dine-in and takeout, and there's fast free Wi-Fi if the morning turns into a working morning.
Plenty of people take the cup and go. Plenty of others bring a laptop and stay a while — we've put together a separate page about working from the cafe if that's you. Opening at seven means you can get a solid couple of hours in before most of the day starts.
Who comes here in the morning?
People from north Pompano Beach mostly, plus neighbors from Lighthouse Point — about five minutes away by car — and from Deerfield Beach.
We also see people from Fort Lauderdale and around Broward County, usually when they're heading somewhere else early and want the coffee stop to be worth making. New Level is top-rated on Google, and a fair number of first visits start that way.
