What makes a cake "European-style" here?
European-style, for us, means thin layers, restrained sweetness, and cream instead of thick icing. Two of our cakes come straight from the Eastern European tradition: Honey Cake, known as medovik, and Napoleon, the Eastern European take on mille-feuille. The rest of the lineup follows the same instinct — fruit, nuts, and soft cream doing the work, so a slice feels like dessert rather than a sugar rush.
Everything is made in-house daily and sold by the slice, which means you can try something new without committing to a whole cake. That's how most people work through the case over a few visits.
Where can I get a pistachio and raspberry dessert in Broward County?
Our Pistachio & Raspberry cake is on the counter at 698 East McNab Road in Pompano Beach, made in-house and sold by the slice. It's one of the most-asked-for desserts we make: the deep, green, slightly savory note of pistachio set against bright raspberry, which keeps the whole slice from turning sweet. If you've been searching for a pistachio raspberry dessert anywhere in Broward County, this is the one to come in for.
It pairs especially well with an Americano or an espresso — something clean that lets the pistachio come forward.
Which European-style cakes do you make?
Here's the full lineup, all made in-house daily and sold by the slice:
- Pistachio & Raspberry — pistachio against sharp raspberry; the one people come back for.
- Honey & Raspberry — honey's warmth with raspberry cutting through it.
- Strawberry — simple and fruit-forward, the easiest slice to hand to someone who says they don't like dessert.
- Chocolate & Blueberry — chocolate with blueberry's tartness alongside, for people who want something darker.
- Snickers — the richest thing in the case, and the one kids point at.
- Honey Cake (medovik) — many thin honey layers with a soft cream filling, traditionally sour-cream based. A classic across Eastern Europe. More about medovik.
- Napoleon — many thin puff-pastry layers with custard cream, the Eastern European mille-feuille. More about Napoleon.
We also make a Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Cup — cheesecake filling, strawberry sauce, cookie crumb — plus cinnamon rolls in several flavors, including a Caramel Peanut Cinnamon Roll loaded with caramel and peanuts.

Who drives here for European cakes?
Most of our cake customers come from north Pompano Beach and the towns right around it. Lighthouse Point is about five minutes away by car, and we see people from Deerfield Beach and Fort Lauderdale too — Broward County doesn't have many places making honey cake and Napoleon fresh every day, so people are willing to come a little way for it.
If you're coming from Lighthouse Point or Deerfield Beach, we have pages with the details for each: near Lighthouse Point and near Deerfield Beach.

What should I drink with a slice?
Coffee is the usual answer, and we're a specialty coffee shop as well as a bakery. Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Caramel Macchiato, and Iced Latte are all on the menu, and we pour premium teas as well.
In Florida heat, plenty of people take their cake with something cold instead: Fresh Lemonade, Peach Lemonade, Lime & Mint Lemonade, Mandarin Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Iced Tea Premium, Iced Coffee, Iced Mocha, or Iced Matcha Latte. A tart lemonade next to a rich slice of Snickers cake works better than it sounds.
If you want something savory first, we make a Chicken Quiche and beef samsa.
