What kind of bakery is this?
It's a bakery and a specialty coffee shop at the same address: cakes and desserts made in-house daily and sold by the slice, plus espresso drinks, premium teas and cold lemonades. Dine-in and takeout both work, so a slice can be a sit-down break or something you carry with you.
You'll find us at 698 East McNab Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33060, in the north end of Pompano Beach. Lighthouse Point is about five minutes away by car, and people also come over from Deerfield Beach and Fort Lauderdale when they want cake and coffee in one stop.

What is Honey Cake (medovik)?
Honey Cake, or medovik, is a classic Eastern European layer cake: many thin honey layers with a soft cream filling, traditionally sour-cream based. The layers soften as they sit together, which is why a slice eats more like something tender than something crumbly.
It's mild enough to go with a cappuccino in the morning or an iced tea in the afternoon. More about this one on our Honey Cake (medovik) page.
What is the Napoleon like?
Napoleon is the Eastern European take on mille-feuille: many thin puff-pastry layers with custard cream between them. Where the Honey Cake is soft all the way through, the Napoleon keeps a little structure in the pastry against the cream.
Like the rest of the case, it's baked in-house and cut by the slice, so you can order one piece and still have room for a coffee. There's a longer description on our Napoleon cake page.
Is there anything besides cake?
Yes — the bakery side also includes cinnamon rolls and a dessert cup.
- Cinnamon rolls come in several flavors, including a Caramel Peanut Cinnamon Roll: soft, gooey, loaded with caramel and peanuts. We wrote more about them on our cinnamon rolls page.
- The Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Cup layers cheesecake filling with strawberry sauce and cookie crumb — a smaller, spoonable option.
- If you want something closer to a candy bar, the Snickers cake is the one to point at.
For something savory instead, there's Chicken Quiche and beef samsa.

Because the doors open at 7:00 AM, a slice with an early espresso works as well as a mid-afternoon one.
