What kind of coffee shop is New Level?
New Level Coffee & Bakery is a specialty coffee shop and bakery in north Pompano Beach, with espresso-based drinks on one side of the menu and cakes made in-house on the other. That pairing is the whole idea: a cappuccino is better with a slice of honey cake beside it, and the honey cake is better with the cappuccino.
Guests come from the surrounding Pompano Beach neighborhoods and from Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach, and elsewhere in Broward County. We're top-rated on Google. Dine-in and takeout both work: come in, order, then stay a while or head back out with your cup.
Where is it, and when is it open?
New Level Coffee & Bakery is at 698 East McNab Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33060, and we're open every day from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM — Monday through Sunday, including Saturdays and Sundays. Our phone number is +1 786-606-1786.
Because the hours are identical seven days a week, there's nothing to double-check before you come: an early weekday, a quiet Saturday morning, and a Sunday afternoon all land inside the same window. If your day starts early, we're open from 7 AM every day, and the address and hours are listed again on the home page.
What espresso drinks can you order?
Six espresso drinks make up the heart of the coffee menu: Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Caramel Macchiato, and Iced Latte.
- Espresso — short, dark, and concentrated, for anyone who wants coffee and nothing else.
- Americano — the same espresso character in a longer, lighter-bodied cup.
- Cappuccino — milky and foam-topped, the classic morning order.
- Latte — the softest and mildest of the milk drinks.
- Caramel Macchiato — sweet and caramel-forward, closer to dessert.
- Iced Latte — the same latte, built cold for a Florida afternoon.

What if you want something cold instead?
The cold side of the menu is as long as the hot one, which matters in Pompano Beach for most of the year. Alongside the Iced Latte there's Iced Coffee, Iced Mocha, Iced Matcha Latte, and Iced Tea Premium.
If you'd rather skip coffee altogether, the lemonades are made fresh: Fresh Lemonade, Peach Lemonade, Lime & Mint Lemonade, Mandarin Lemonade, and Strawberry Lemonade. They're tart rather than syrupy, and they're the easiest thing to hand a kid or anyone who's already had their coffee for the day.

What cakes are there to go with the coffee?
Cakes are made in-house daily and sold by the slice: Honey Cake, Honey & Raspberry, Napoleon, Pistachio & Raspberry, Strawberry, Chocolate & Blueberry, and Snickers.
Two of them are worth knowing by name. Honey Cake — medovik — is a classic Eastern European cake: many thin honey layers with a soft cream filling between them, traditionally sour-cream based, so it tastes gentle rather than sugary. Napoleon is the Eastern European take on mille-feuille, built from many thin puff-pastry layers with custard cream. Both are good with a plain Americano. The full lineup is on our cakes and desserts page.
Is there anything to eat besides cake?
Yes — there's food that isn't sweet, plus a few desserts that aren't cake. Chicken Quiche and beef samsa are the two to look for if you want something savory with your coffee, and they work as an actual breakfast rather than a snack.
On the sweet side, cinnamon rolls come in several flavors, including a Caramel Peanut Cinnamon Roll that's soft, gooey, and loaded with caramel and peanuts. There's also a Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Cup — cheesecake filling, strawberry sauce, and cookie crumb, layered in a cup and easy to eat one-handed.
Can you stay and get some work done?
You can. We have fast free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating, and we're happy when people bring a laptop and settle in for a while — a morning of email, a few hours of writing, or a call that needed somewhere quieter than home.
Since we're open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day, the workable window is wide, whether you want the early part of the morning or the back half of the afternoon. There's more on working from here on our laptop-friendly coffee shop page.
